As each note is atomic and can be linked into other thoughts to create different structures of narrative. This also allows for efficient generation and the use of some efficient patterns used in programming. Also allowing some patterns used for writing efficient code to apply to efficient prose. For example notes can be made from parts of other notes

This also means you are not reinventing the wheel elaborating concepts you've done before.
You can also spend more time refining and polishing notes if desired which will improve the quality of all writing anywhere it has been used.
